Reliable sources have indicated that, both President Uhuru and his
Deputy Ruto have shared the 18 Cabinet slots equally with TNA and URP
getting nine slots each. However Ruto is reported to be uncomfortable
with the apparent merger and renaming ministries to his disadvantage,
some sections of the pre-election MoU seem to be breached by the
latest development because those were not the ministries in the agreement.
The amazing top brass at Harambee house- Mutea Iringo,Francis Kimemia
and Intelligence Chief Gichangi are said to have been behind the merger
of crucial ministries. Kenyans especially those on social media and
allied to Raila Odinga have urged Ruto to “accept and move on” for the
sake of development. The other issue that is delaying the process is
what to do with Ongeri,Zipapa,Ngilu and Mudavadi. Most members of the
National Assembly have rejected 'analog' and rejected leaders. The other issue is the Finance Docket. Uhuru is the president and in charge of public funds and Ruto is being forced to give out that docket to TNA.
