Mudavadi to be given powerful coordination ministry

Former DPM Musalia Mudavadi is set to be named as the Secretary of Interior and National Coordination Ministry. This ministry is a very powerful one because it is the closest to the president, The holder of this ministry is set to be very close the president even better than the Deputy President. The ministry holder will have nearly the same roles as that of the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
This means that Mudavadi will have access to the most crucial documents and information in government. Sources say that Mudavadi was highly considered for this post because he previously held the post of Finance Minister, Deputy PM, and was Uhuru's running mate in 2002 Presidential elections. Another key reason why Mudavadi is to be given the post is because he comes from Western Province where Uhuru didn’t score votes, it is a strategic way of wooing the Luhya Nation to support Uhuru politically. This is according to the trusted sources in state house, but we have our own reasons why Mudavadi could be named;
Number one, Uhuru is hopping to completely annihilate Raila's influence in Western Province. It is obviously known Raila runs the show in Western Kenya, so Uhuru advisors think by awarding a Muluya that powerful post, the Luhya people will be confused and think Uhuru is honest to them.
