Why Uhuru was dying to meet Odinga

Many have speculated the reasons behind why the  recently elected Kenyan president decided to meet Raila Odinga, it was not just because of the obvious reasons that the country was divided so the meeting was a mere PR plot to reunite the country. Well thats not the reason.
According to political scientists, Africa is a well known continent when it comes to government topplings by opponents, and Kenya is no exeption to this. Uhuru is not prepared for that. The Odinga family is completely feared by the high and the mighty in this country, Raila's father Jaramogi was highly feared by iron man himself Jomo Kenyatta himself. It is no secret that  Kenyatta used the Rev Jesse Jackson to organize a meeting between him and Raila at state house Nairobi. Fear factor among the newly elected leaders was why they badly wanted to meet Odinga who was also given numerous offers including a possibility of him becoming a minister in the newly formed government. According to sources who don't want to be named, Odinga had refused to respond to Uhuru's phone calls four times. So now you know what transpired?? au sio??
